In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at the Glastonbury Festival, a Russian drone, makers' marks and Vivid-Pix's giveaway.
- Reuters presents 25 photos from the Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farms.
- Hiro Komae captured the moment A Russian Drone dove into a Kyiv residential district. "I ran toward a blast down the street when suddenly I heard the sound of another incoming drone," he writes. "I looked up and clearly saw its flight path. I should’ve taken cover, but the street was wide and empty — no shelter, only the pavement. I needed two seconds to get a sharp shot."
- In Makers' Marks, Stacy Suaya includes a discussion of how early photographers signed their work.
- To celebrate National Photo Month and National Mental Health Month, Vivid-Pix is seeking nominations for its Community Giveaway. You can nominate any organization that you feel will help others relive and secure memories. Deadline for nominations is June 30, 11:59 p.m. ET.
More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look back. And please support our efforts...
