In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at extreme heat, Budapest Pride, high-magnification macrophotography and RapidRAW.
- The Associated Press shows how Extreme Heat is affecting parts of Europe.
- In Budapest Pride Draws Huge Crowds Defying Ban, Reuters presents 26 photos of the rally banned by Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Tens of thousands marched through Hungary's capital in protest.
- Jim Kasson discusses Choosing Gear for High-Magnification Macrophotography. He's after two- to five-times magnification on a medium format sensor.
