In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Wimbledon, drones, satellite images of Texas flooding and Chinese solar farms.
- Sweat, Glory and Butterflies features Guardian photographer Tom Jenkins's best shots of Wimbledon. "The tournament culminated with two new names being engraved on the singles winners' trophies as Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner added the Wimbledon titles to their previous grand slam victories."

Over the weekend, the site became unreachable with 500 Internal Server errors. We've reported the problem to Sonic and are awaiting resolution.
