In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at LensCulture awards, Gaza, Martin Parr on board, the Grateful Dead's 60th anniversary and Millennials and Gen Z cameras.
- LensCulture has announced its Critics' Choice Award Winners. "Thousands of photo projects and single images were submitted this year to the Critics' Choice Awards from over 120 countries around the world. These top winners represent the personal favorites of the 19 photography experts on this year’s panel."
- Associated Press photographer Jehad Alshrafi follows the Sobh family's Search for Food in Gaza after being displaced multiple times.
- In Decks Appeal, Martin Parr captures life on a cruise liner in the Mediterranean.
- Abigail Vân Neely gets the photos as Third-Gen Deadheads 'Pilgrimage' to the Panhandle and Set Up Camp to celebreate the Grateful Dead's 60th anniversary.
- Nilofer Khan looks at Google Trends to find the Top Four Cameras Trending With Millennials and Gen Z at the moment. That would be the Nikon D780, Sony RX10 IV, Fujifilm GFX 50R and Canon M200.
