In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at the Emmys, the World Athletics Championships, Chinatown Pretty and Embracing Manual Photography.
- The Associated Press shares its Red Carpet Photos of Stars at the Emmys.
- Reuters showcases 35 photos from the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
- Chinatown Pretty was created by photographer Andria Lo and writer Valerie Luu, "two friends who love dim sum and chasing after pretty poh pohs (grandmas)." Lo took the photos of these fashionable Chinatown elders and Luu wrote their stories, which have been compiled into a book.
- Lensbaby will host a free Webinar on Embracing Manual Photography with Jamie Konarski Davidson on Sept. 24, at 5 p.m. PST. Registration required.
More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look five years back. And please support our efforts...
