- The Associated Press features highlights from the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, including Anna Hall's gold medal victory in the heptathlon.
- Austin Mann visits the Dolomite Mountains with the iPhone 17 Pro and returns with his review. "The standout upgrade in this year’s iPhone Pro is clearly the 4x 48MP camera—along with the new 8x telephoto," he writes. "Photographic Styles continue to unlock the creative potential of the iPhone camera, and I think the new Bright style is going to be really popular."
- The Fall edition of Truth in Photography has been published. This edition's themes are Focus and 40 Years of Documentary Arts.
- Rocky Nook is launching The Nook, a new creative community, on Monday, Sept. 22. "Whether you're looking to deepen your craft, overcome creative blocks or connect with like-minded creative people, The Nook is a space made for growth, connection and daily creative practice," the company said.
- Mike Johnston is making an Executive Decision to move to his "Patreon site temporarily." The URL is patreon.com/theonlinephotographer, he notes, and access "will still be mostly free." The WordPress site he's been working just won't be ready by Oct. 1.
