In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at AP's week, Reuters in Milan, Bryan Sansivero, Mark Rammers, Generative Fill's partner models and Dianne Ebertt Beeaff.
- The Associated Press highlights its top Photos of the Week curated by photo editor Eloy Martin.
- Reuters features 36 photos of Milan Fashion Week.
- Kate Mothes showcases Bryan Sansivero's forgotten houses from his America the Abandoned, a new book coming from Artisan Oct. 14. "From interiors strewn with garments, toys, knick-knacks and decor to empty farmhouses gradually sagging into the prairie, he captures a spectral phenomenon ripe for storytelling," she writes.
- In Wijk (Neighborhood), Mark Rammers writes about photographing the Dutch seaside town Wijk aan Zee. "I expected, after reading all the headlines, to find a village in a state of urgency, at the mercy of a steelmaking behemoth," he writes. "Instead I found myself in a quiet place nestled between the greys of the North Sea and tall dune grasses dancing in the westerly wind."
- Julieanne Kost explains Photoshop Beta's new Partner Models in Generative Fill Workflow:
- Dianne Ebertt Beeaff's new book, Infinite Paradise: Witnessing the Wild, a Memoir, mixes personal vignettes with color photographs that track the seasons of a single year in Southern Ontario, Canada.
