We had dashed into Trader Joe's last weekend to pick up some juice boxes for the kids who were about to visit when we saw these irresistible Ghosts and Bats Potato Chips. So we didn't resist.
But long after the kids had gone, we still had a few. So we sat down with them and interviewed them on their plans for Friday. Halloween, that is.
Q. Are ghosts real?
A. Bite me. You'll see.
Q. Were you ever actually alive?
A. Of course. With eyes and a skin and everything.
Q. Where were you born?
A. Underground. In the dirt of Mother Earth.
Q. How did you learn how to fly?
A. Actually, that's just a computer simulation.
Q. So you really can't fly?
A. We fly all right. From the bag into your mouth.
Q. Are you afraid of bats?
A. To us they're just crumbs.
Q. How did you learn English?
A. ChatGPT is in our DNA.
We were happy to end the interview after that answer. But how? Well, in the best Halloween tradition: by eating all of them before they could say another word. What a treat!
