In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Reuters' month, iPhone Photography Awards, Theo Bosboom and Les Rencontres d'Arles.
- Reuters curates 50 of its Pictures of the Month for June from around the world.
- The best images from the 19th annual iPhone Photography Awards present "intimate portraits, quiet landscapes and abstract studies of light, form and color."
- Kate Mothes features Theo Bosboom's new book Flowerscapes, A Bug's Eye View., which looks at the natural world from the perspective of its pollinators.
- Les Rencontres d'Arles 2026 opens as photography is nearing its bicentenary with exhibitions from July 6 to Oct. 4. Lens Culture previews a few of the images, noting "Photography, nearing 200, is not settling into respectability. In Arles, at least, it remains restless."
More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look back. And please support our efforts...
