In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at the World Cup winner, Pamplona's Bull Run, tariffs and AI menu images.

  • Reuters has 22 photos as Spain Beat Argentina to Win World Cup.
  • Miguel Osés captures the quickly moving danger of Pamplona's Bull Run in one shot taken at 1/1250 and ISO 2000. "I saw the pack of bulls coming in very tight and fast and I knew they could crash against the barricade, sweeping the runners away," he writes.
  • "You probably thought I was done writing about tariffs," begins Thom Hogan in Back to No News, Just Comments. "The new higher pricing coupled with tariff rebates from last round have allowed what looks like big discounts. For example, a Nikon Z8 now lists at $4,300 and currently features a $800 discount. Yet when it came out it was $4,000, thus today's discounts are really a net of $500."
  • Jessica Yadegaran reports a new restaurant got an angry backlash for AI Menu Images is put up in its windows. They were removed.

More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look five years back. And please support our efforts...
