In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at the Lanegg monastery, photos of the day, the right camera and wedding etiquette.
- Photographer Roland Reinstadler gained access to the Lanegg monastery in Lana, South Tyrol, Italy, for his new book In Umbra Lucis. He captured the architecture, inhabitants, light and shadows, capturing the everyday moments of the nuns and priests.
- The Associated Press showcases its Top Photos of the Day from yesterday.
- Mike Johnston proclaims he's Happy With My Hobby, emjoying his "Sigma FP with aftermarket wooden grip and wrist strap, with a Sigma 45mm Æ'/2.8 Contemporary lens and hood, two tripod mounting plates, a Sigma LVF-11 finder and a premium Hoya K2 (yellow) filter."
