Saturday matinees long ago let us escape from the ordinary world to the island of the Swiss Family Robinson or the mutinous decks of the Bounty. Why not, we thought, escape the usual fare here with Saturday matinees of our favorite photography films?
So we're pleased to present the 667th in our series of Saturday matinees today: Photography Tricks.
Every few seconds of this 3:16 presentation from Luminative Media shows you how to set up a shot that will amaze your friends. The result is shown right away so you hardly have any time to guess what the setup portends.
Still that's a fun game to play. Just pause the video during the setup to see if you can guess what the final image will be.
The fun part is in guessing wrong. The obvious isn't always the point. And when it isn't, you'll be delighted.
