- The Associated Press continues its cover of the Aftermath of Flash Floods in Nepal with some dramatic images. Reuters adds 30 more photos of the Heartbreaking Scenes.
- Amadeo Fusca was awarded $100 for winning the Zohran Mamdani Lookalike Contest at Washington Square Park in New York City. Reuters has 19 images of the event.
- Derrick Story wondered about The Last Time I Used a Tripod as he lined up a shot of the eclipse. "It's a question that says a lot about cameras these days," he writes.
- Nicholas David reports SF Camerawork to Reopen Weeks After Shutteringon Sept. 9. The gallery that has supported the work of experimental photographers for more than 50 years will maintain its lease at Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, where it has been since 2022.
