In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Lensbaby's Summer Photo Contest winners, unusual pictures, the Canon R8 II and the new Mint It's-It green.
- Lensbaby has announced the winners of its Summer Photo Contest. "With over 350 entries, we were blown away by the creativity, experimentation and unique perspectives in this year's summer contes," the company said.
- Reuters marks The Week in Unusual Pictures with 11 images, including what we can only describe as a Popemobile fascinator.
- In Canon R8 II Gets Total-Body Makeover, Mike Johnston says the new full-frame Canon body resembles the APS-C Fujiffilm X-T5 with "almost exactly the same size and weight."
- Kendra Smith photographs the color change in a Mint It's-It after the company removed Blue No.1 food dye. The new mint color "pales" in comparison.
