In this recurring column, we'll highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters).
You can point us to others we might have missed with the Feedback button below, too.
- The February issue of Adobe's Inspire magazine features the Impossible photos of Erik Johansson.
- Vision sometimes refers to nothing more fanciful than eyesight. Ctein discusses his presbyopia in Superfocus vs. Presbyopia Man at The Online Photographer.
- The Rashomon Project at UC Berkeley is developing "an online toolkit that will facilitate rapidly assembly and public review of 'Multi-Perspective Chronologies' where many videos [of news events] are time-aligned and displayed simultaneously."
- Roger Cicala compares the system costs of various formats, advising "the lesser camera needs the better lens."
