Iridient Digital has released its first maintenance update to Iridient Developer 2, its OS X Raw processing software. But there's more to the story than a few bug fixes.

Support has been added for the Nikon: 1 J3/S1, Sony NEX-3N, Leica M (Typ 240), Sigma DP3 Merrill, Pentax MX-1 and Hasselblad H4D-40. The new release also includes support for the latest DNG Camera Profile specification from DNG v1.4.

The release also includes improvements to the performance of image preview and histogram updates and drag based scrolling of the thumbnail browser.

Iridient Digital releases Iridient Developer 2.0.1 for Mac OS X

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. -- Iridient Digital, Inc. has released Iridient Developer 2.0.1 an update to our critically acclaimed image processing software for Mac OS X.

This maintenance update cleans up some bugs introduced in version 2.0 including a critical crashing bug with early Mac Intel models (pre-SSE4 processors).

Also all new with this version is full support for the latest DNG Camera Profile specification from DNG v1.4. DNG Camera Profiles can be loaded from both standalone DCP format files and DNG images. This, in addition to the previous support for ICC camera profiles, custom point based camera tone curves and the older DNG v1.1 style color matrix rendering, extends Iridient Developer's lead in flexible, user configurable support for Raw image color managemen!.

This release also includes improvements to the performance of image preview and histogram updates, drag based scrolling of the thumbnail browser and various other improvements and bug fixes.

Plus support for 7 new Raw camera models including the Nikon: 1 J3/S1, Sony NEX-3N, Leica M (Typ 240), Sigma DP3 Merrill, Pentax MX-1 and Hasselblad H4D-40.

This release is a paid upgrade for users who originally purchased a license more than 15 months ago (prior to Sept. 16, 2011). Iridient Developer can be used unregistered in demonstration mode. When unregistered Iridient Developer is fully functional, however all exported images will be watermarked.
