In this recurring column, we'll highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at Lightroom 5 issues, the Leica X Vario, Eye-Fi Mobi and Zeiss Touit lenses.

  • Product Manager Sharad Mangalick discusses Lightroom 5 Hot Issues at the Lightroom Journal. A link to the missing Revel Publish Service is one of them.
  • Sean Reid reflects on the expectations surrounding the recent introduction of the Leica X Vario in Waiting for Monroe at the Luminous Landscape. That would be Marilyn.
  • The Eye-Fi Mobi WiFi SD card pairs with your iOS or Android device to transfer images. Unlike the Pro X2 it won't transfer to your computer and won't upload Raw files. Derrick Story reviewed the Mobi earlier this month.
  • Michael Reichmann and Kevin Raber review two Zeiss Touit lenses at Luminous Landscape while Roger Cicala takes one apart at LensRentals.

More to come...
