It Must Be Monday... Tweet This   Forward This

22 July 2013

We escaped the fog yesterday, motoring south half an hour for a little sunshine. But this morning we're sweating more figuratively. Lightroom 5 won't launch so we can't investigate two issues readers brought to our attention.

Rodin. Detail from the Burghers of Calais, shot with a Nikon D200 and Lensbaby Edge 80 at f11.

Looks like we're not going to get started on our Benson printing series this month (we hate to begin a series at the end of the month, breaking up the Archive listing).

But we just may be able to squeeze in our Ilford Galerie Prestige Gold Mono Silk (Mono for short) review. We're keen to put this paper apparently optimized for black and white prints on both pigment and dye printers -- and in color, too. It isn't, however, going to help us with the Benson story because it's not quite the right surface.

Our video project is half in the can, so to speak. We've learned a lot about using Premiere and about editing a video in 2013 (the Modern Era). And it looks like we'll be passing along a few tips and techniques.

That's postponed our Film Tools review a bit because we might just want to include the video version, too.

We haven't forgotten about the last piece of our OpticFilm Review. And we do have a few others sticks in the fire.

Meanwhile, there's just a few days left on our introductory offer of $9.99 for Beginner's Flash. That should keep you busy.

So stay tuned. We've got our sleeves rolled up and our eyes glued to the screen. And it's only Monday.
