Iridient Digital has released Iridient Developer 2.3.1, updating its $75 Raw image editing software for Mac OS. Among the highlights of the new version are:

  • Support for 10 of the latest new Raw camera models, including the Nikon D610/D5300/1 AW1, Sony A7/A7R/RX10, Fujifilm X-E2/XQ1, Panasonic GM1 and Leica C (Typ 112)
  • Improved handling of decimal number entry in text fields (commas, periods and native localized decimal separators are all now accepted for decimal separators regardless of your system locale or system preference settings)
  • A bug fix for a couple of the Fujifilm X20 auto dynamic range modes

We asked developer Brian Griffith about Mavericks compatibility. He replied, "It should be completely compatible with Mavericks! I haven't come across any issues with the final Mavericks release in the last couple days its been out or with any of the prior developer builds before that."

Iridient Digital Releases Iridient Developer 2.3.1 for Mac OS X

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. -- Iridient Digital has released Iridient Developer 2.3.1, an update to its photo editing software for Mac OS X.

This release features support for 10 of the latest new Raw camera models, improved handling of decimal number entry in text fields (commas, periods and native localized decimal separators are all now accepted for decimal separators regardless of your system locale or system preference settings) and a bug fix for a couple of the Fujifilm X20 auto dynamic range modes.

Raw image support has been added for the following new cameras:

  • Nikon: D610, D5300 and 1 AW1
  • Sony: ILCE-A7, ILCE-A7R and DSC-RX10
  • Fujifilm: X-E2 and XQ1
  • Panasonic: DMC-GM1
  • Leica: C (Typ 112)

This release is a paid upgrade for users who originally purchased a license prior to April 1. You get at least 18 months of free upgrades, regardless of version designation, when purchasing Iridient Developer. When used unregistered, in demo mode, Iridient Developer is fully functional however all exported images will be watermarked.

Upgrades are available to previously licensed users for the discounted price of $45. by requesting a 40 percent discount code from sales@iridientdigital.com. New licenses can be purchased for $75 securely through Iridient Developer by selecting "Purchase..." from the File menu or securely online through the Web store.

Iridient Developer 2.3.1 is a 64-bit Intel application and requires a 64-bit capable Intel processor (Core 2 Duo or later) and Mac OS X version 10.6 or later.
