20 November 2013

When Adobe launched its Photoshop Photography Program in September, the $9.99/month subscription was restricted to owners of CS3 and later. Until Dec. 2, Adobe is extended that offer to anyone.

Everyone. No previous license required through Dec. 2.

The program includes Creative Cloud-based access to Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 (plus updates), 20-GB of cloud storage and Behance ProSite for $9.99/month as an annual subscription.

When the offer expires, Adobe added, "the Photoshop Photography Program will continue to be available for $9.99/month to those photography customers who own a previous version of Photoshop Photoshop Extended, or Creative Suite, version CS3 or later (CS3.x, CS4, CS5.x, or CS6)." The offer to CS3+ owners expires Dec. 31.

More information on the Photoshop Photography Program is available on the Adobe FAQ page.

Update (25 Nov.): Adobe's John Knack has confirmed that the introductory price does not expire after a year. "The price itself isn't limited," he said." That is, it won't be going up in a year. (Adobe has no plans to raise the price at all, but we can't say that it'll never go up -- e.g. for inflation -- or down.)"
