With Black Friday upon us, we look at a few unusual shopping resources, including Story's Gift Guide, Joe McNally's shopping tips, Aquafadas discounts and Adorama's Gift Guides.

- Derrick Story has released his Photographer Gift Guide for 2013, a podcast listing some of the more affordable possibilities we've seen.
- Joe McNally gives a little shopping advice in his In The Spirit of the Season, citing Scott Kelby's Cyber Weekend, among others.
- From Nov. 25 to Dec. 2, Aquafadas is discounting its PulpMotion ($49) and Kidsmotion ($11.99) digital scrapbook software.
- By Friday, Adorama "will transform its Web site into a holiday-themed shopper's delight that features Adorama Gift Guides."
- Seim Effects is offering 32 percent off everything (including Power Workflow 4 presets for Lightroom and Aperture) through Dec. 2 when you use the promo code THANKSGIVING.
- Adobe is discounting Lightroom 5 from $149 to $109 and Photoshop Elements from $99.99 to $54.99 through Dec. 7. Both perpetual licenses, apparently. The Photoshop Photography Program of Lightroom/Photoshop/Behance/Storage is available for $9.99/month to anyone until Dec. 2, too. More discounts to be announced soon on Adobe.com, the company promised.
- B&H has set up a Nikon Black Friday Deals page with deals through Nov. 30. A computer deals page ends Monday night.
- Tiffen is offering two Photo fx deals: Photo fx for $.99 (regularly $2.99) and Photo fx Ultra for $1.99 (regularly $4.99) on the iTunes Store through Dec. 2.
