In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at Moose Peterson, the Narrative Clip, PowerPole Kickstarter project and a BorrowLenses used gear sale discount.
- Moose Peterson is guest blogging today at Scott Kelby's Photoshop Insider. His topic is a day with the Texas Flying Legends Museum flying a collection of World War II aircraft to honor "the past while preserving and sharing that history to inspire the future."
- Wondering what happened to Memoto? It's become Narrative. The $229 Narrative Clip takes a 5-megapixel photo every 30 seconds, storing up to 4,000. Desktop, Android and iOS apps manage the deluge. The company reports 100 million uploads to its server already.
- The PowerPole Kickstarter project reached its goal. The accessory packs five GoPro batteries into an extension pole that mounts a GoPro on the business end. The team is trying to get a bit more funding for its Proview Remote Mount to clamp a smartphone on the handle for remote control of the GoPro.
- BorrowLenses is having a Used Gear Sale through the end of the month. You can save 15 percent off the used price with the code USEDGEAR15
