DNP has introduced a Flat Fee Repair Program for its professional dye-sublimation photo printers. Any out-of-warranty DNP printer not covered by DNP's Advanced Exchange or Extended Service programs is eligible for the new program.

The Flat Fee Program offers three levels of repairs:

  • Level I is a general tune-up in which no major repair problems are found;
  • Level II is a standard repair that does not include a thermal print head replacement;
  • Level III is a repair that includes replacement of the printer's thermal print head. All level repairs are done on a flat-fee pricing basis and include parts and labor.

DNP Announces Flat Fee Repair Program For Out-of-Warranty Printers

CONCORD, N.C -- DNP Imagingcomm America has introduced a Flat Fee Repair Program for its award-winning professional dye-sublimation photo printers. Any DNP Printer beyond its limited warranty period not covered by DNP's Advanced Exchange or Extended Service programs are eligible for the Flat Fee Repair Program.

Thermal print head limitation and warranty periods on new products begin on the date of purchase. Warranties vary by printer model and require a proof-of-purchase or sales invoice. The Limited warranty of qualifying DS40 printer purchases cover one year or 40,000 prints (4x6), whichever comes first. Purchases of the RX1 are covered for one year or 30,000 prints (4x6) and the DS80 is one year or 10,000 prints (8x10).
