Phase One Announces Capture One CH 8

Phase One has announced a cultural heritage edition of Capture One, its Raw processing and image editing software. Designed in partnership with Digital Transitions, CH 8 is intended for "museums, libraries and other institutions who are at the forefront of cultural heritage preservation."
New productivity tools in the package include:
- Auto Crop/Auto Rotate for flat art reproduction or for books, including alignment of material to specific corners or proof margins.
- Negative Film Reproduction automates the conversion of negative transparent material in both black & white and colors.
- Lab Color Readout offers precise verification of colors in LAB (1976 CIE L*a*b*) with full compliance with FADGI IV and Metamorfoze guidelines.

Phase One Releases Capture One CH 8
A Special Edition for Cultural Heritage Imaging
COPENHAGEN -- Phase One has released Capture One CH 8 -- a special edition of the renowned professional Raw processing and image editing software -- designed to help satisfy the demanding workflow needs of professionals at museums, libraries and other institutions who are at the forefront of cultural heritage preservation.
This software was designed with Phase One's cultural heritage business partner, Digital Transitions, Inc., with guidance from various prestigious cultural heritage institutions and companies that serve this market around the world. New productivity-enhancing features include:
