Format has released Kredo, a free iPad portfolio app which the company claims is "the world's first retina-quality portfolio network for the iPad."

Kredo users can share their retina-quality, high resolution portfolios online by email, social media or within the in-app Discover Network, a global mobile online community.

"We're excited to offer that same talent a high resolution retina-quality mobile portfolio network that, for the first time ever, allows clients to zoom in to every detail of their work," Kredo CEO Lukas Dryja said.

The Kredo iPad app features an intuitive slide show for in-person presentation. Kredo users can upload work and manage their portfolio from anywhere, even without an Internet connection. Last minute changes can be imported from Dropbox, iTunes, the iPad Photo Library or from a Format.com Online Portfolio.

All creative work is stored on a secure, private cloud account. Projects within the portfolio can be shared publicly via email, Facebook or Twitter or privately by securing access with a password. Shared work is available to be viewed within the browser at any time.

Format.com unveils Kredo

TORONTO, Ontario -- Today, Format expands its online portfolio offering with the release of Kredo, a free iPad portfolio app that enables creatives including photographers, designers, illustrators and artists to present their work professionally, both in person and online. Improving upon the traditional printed portfolio, users of Kredo can share their retina-quality, high resolution portfolios online by email, social media or within the in-app Discover Network.

Discover Network is a global mobile online community that connects creative professionals with peers and prospective clients, serving as a platform to promote talent, build professional relationships and find inspiration. "With the Kredo Discover Network, creative directors have a powerful new platform for sourcing the right expertise for their specific project needs. Creative talent can quickly be discovered by defining criteria like geographic location or industry," explains Lukas Dryja, CEO of Kredo. "We're excited to offer that same talent a high resolution retina-quality mobile portfolio network that, for the first time ever, allows clients to zoom in to every detail of their work."

On one of more than 225 million iPads sold to-date worldwide, the Kredo iPad portfolio app offers an intuitive slide show feature that allows for professional in person presentation. Kredo users can upload work and effortlessly manage and customize their portfolio on the go, from anywhere -- even without an Internet connection. Last minute changes can quickly be resolved with creative work easily imported from Dropbox, iTunes, the iPad Photo Library or from a Format.com Online Portfolio.
