In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at GPS units for Nikon dSLRs, a picture we'd like to walk into, iphone photos backup options and three Lensrentals jobs.
- Terry White searches for the Best Nikon dSLR GPS since Nikon still won't put a radio in its dSLRs. "While I applaud Nikon for having direct GPS support right in the menu of their dSLRs," White notes, "it's a shame that in 2015 we still have to buy 'EXTERNAL' modules." Yes, he's shouting.
- The Leica Camera Blog has posted One Shot with Nicole Struppert. She used a Leica M8 with a 28mm Elmarit lens to capture a couple in Zurich "hiding behind their newspaper, isolated in their own world and having a drink." A coffee with brandy and a glass of white wine. As she says, "This is not just a candid shot; it tells so much about the time we live in."
- Rob DePaolo has written A Guide To Backup & Storage Options For iPhone Photos.
- If you live in Tennessee, Lenrentals is hiring for three positions: customer service rep, fulfillment associate and photo and video technician.
Incidentally, this morning we updated our late stories from last night with affiliate links. More to come...
