This time we look at the new American West, Michael Tapes with a Sony A7R II, a more powerful Healing Brush in Snapseed and an auction of famous photos.
- In The Changing Landscape of the American West, Rene Silverman describes Lucas Foglia's four-year project photographing a big and harsh landscape dotted with tight-knit communities whose lives were in transition. - John Nack reports the latest Snapseed update features more powerful Healing Brush with a "new ability to heal arbitrary-shaped regions. Just tap the filter selector, tap Healing, and then paint away the bits you’d like to omit." And it's non-destructive.
