In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at Misty Copeland, Zun Lee, British Vogue and custom default ACR settings.
- Harper's Bazaar has published Misty Copeland and Degas: Art of Dance in which the principal dancer of the American Ballet Theatre recreates famous Edgar Degas paintings in images shot by Ken Browar and Deborah Ory for an upcoming exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. And it wasn't easy, she says.
- For Black History Month, online portfolio platform Format presents the fourth episode of its online documentary series InFrame featuring visual storyteller Zun Lee:
- Vogue 100: A Century of Style showcases the range of photography commissioned by British Vogue since 1916, with over 280 prints from the Condé Nast archive and internattional collections. Sarah Vine at the Daily Mail wrote a cheeky review.
- In Customizing the Default Setting for ACR and Lightroom, Julieanne Kost shows how she's customized her default processing settings for Camera Raw. She also describes the drawbacks.
