We've just archived Volume 5 Number 2 of Photo Corners with 11 Features, 34 commented news stories, 21 Editor's Notes (which included over 80 items of interest), five reviews and two site notes for a total of 73 stories.

Those are increases across the board but we're particularly glad to see the review total rise.

Reviews have a gestation period all their own. Take our OpticFilm 135 review, for example. We were sailing along until we started actually scanning film with it. We discussed our preliminary findings with Plustek and they're trying to address them. So that review is going to take longer than we thought.

Our slide shows and matinees were a bit more topical last month with Super Bowl 50 in town and Chinese New Year.

But it's better that way, frankly. The product stands to be improved and your experience with it happier.

There was a bit more news in February as well. Inspired by CP+ in Japan, quite a few interesting cameras were introduced as well as several lenses.

We stayed up late to publish the specifications and images for each new product as they were announced. And when the pre-order affiliate links became active, we updated the stories with those, marking the headlines of the updated stories with a plus sign to let you know.

Our slide shows and matinees were a bit more topical last month with Super Bowl 50 in town and Chinese New Year. We always enjoy working on those two assignments and never more than when there's a theme to complement.

Even though it's a leap year with an extra day in February, it's still a short month and our preliminary traffic statistics reflected that. Averages stayed the same but totals showed a day or two lower numbers. But we're at new highs for the past three months and we're happy to see that.

So we're excited to march on, let's just say.
