Iridient Digital has released Iridient Developer 3.1, its OS X Raw conversion and image processing software, featuring new camera support as well as new demosaicizing algorithms that improve fine detail rendering.
New Raw camera support includes:
- Canon 80D, 1D X Mark II, 1300D (Rebel T6, Kiss X80) and PowerShot G7 X Mark II
- Nikon D500 and D5
- Sony A6300 (ILCE-6300), A68 (ILCA-68) and RX10 III (DSC-RX10M3)
- Fujifilm X-Pro2 compressed format
- Panasonic DMC-GX80 and DMC-GX85
- Leica M-D (Typ 262)
- BlackMagic URSA Mini 4.6K, URSA Mini 4K, URSA 4.6K and URSA
- DJI FC550 (Xenmuse X5), FC350 (Inspire 1 and Phantom 4), FC300x (Phantom 3 Pro) and FC300S (Phantom 3 Advanced)
- Samsung Galaxy S7.
- HTC One A9 and One M9
The update features two new version 4 Raw (demosaic) processing algorithms for Bayer sensor cameras featuring improved fine detail rendering while reducing false detail artifacts, lower noise and provide fast performance.
The update also includes a critical workaround for an issue introduced in the recent Mac OS X 10.11.4 update which affects the Shadows and Highlights (Neighborhood Adaptive) adjustments. A bug with loading Raw images from some 2007 and earlier Canon dSLR models has also been fixed.

Iridient Developer 3.1 Released
PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. -- Iridient Digital has released Iridient Developer 3.1, an update to the critically acclaimed Raw conversion and photo processing software for Mac OS X.
Iridient Developer 3.1 can now be downloaded from the download page.
This Iridient Developer update brings two new version 4 Raw (demosaic) processing algorithms for Bayer sensor cameras featuring improved fine detail rendering while reducing false detail artifacts, lower noise and provide fast performance. If you have purchased a new or upgraded license after September 2014 this update is free. However, this release is a paid upgrade for users who originally purchased a license prior to this date.

Iridient Developer 3.1 is a 64-bit Mac OS X application and requires a 64-bit capable Intel processor (Core 2 Duo or later) and Mac OS X version 10.6.8 or later.
