In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention (with more than 140 characters). This time we look at some Cyber Monday deals to add to our Black Friday listings.
Online Stampede. We duplicated our Stampede image from Friday on a new layer, applied the Find Edges filter and set the Opacity to 42 percent before increasing the Saturation of the base layer.
Most of the deals we listed on Black Friday are still live for Cyber Monday, but here are a few more that we ran across:
CYBER MONDAY

- Derrick Story solved his WiFi transfer problem from an Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera to Mac OS with Cascable Transfer, currently in beta. Check compatibility with your WiFi-enabled camera. If you pre-order, you'll earn a 50 percent "super early bird discount" from the list price of $14.99.
- The George Eastman Museum is offering free shipping today only on purchases at its online store. Gift memberships and workshop enrollments are also available. Which reminds us to remind you the gift-giving season is a great time to support your local photography museums.
