SanDisk introduced a new microSDXC card that can store 40 hours of Full HD video and transfer files as fast as 100-MB/second. The 400-GB Ultra has been able to double the capacity of existing cards by using a new production process.

Highlights of the new card include:

  • Transfer speeds up to 100-MB/s
  • A1-rated to deliver faster app launch
  • Class 10 speed rating
  • Waterproof, shockproof, X-ray proof
  • Android phone and tablet compatibility
  • 10 year warranty

The card is also compatible with the SanDisk Memory Zone app, which lets you view, access and back up your phone's files in one location. It can also automatically move files from your device to your memory card to free up space.

SanDisk said the card will retail for $249.99 on release. In comparison, the 256-GB card lists for $199.99 and can be fond for $130 online.
