Alien Skin Reveals Exposure X3 Details

Alien Skin has announced the upcoming third quarter release of Exposure X3, its image organizing and editing application, with "numerous creative enhancements," the company said.
Master photographer and educator Sue Bryce demonstrated some of Exposure X3's new features at her Portrait Master's Conference today.
HIGHLIGHTS
Among the upcoming enhancements, new color and B&W toning enhancements provide greater control over image adjustments. A side-by-side view provides an easy way to compare similar images or to audition multiple presets on a single image. Linear and radial brush shapes enable a natural, seamless fade between two or more effects. Adjustable borders include grunge and wet plate looks.
New organizing tools include virtual copies for editing multiple variations of a single photo, without requiring more disk space. An intuitive keywords interface helps add descriptive metadata, making it easy to organize photos around themes and to create keyword sets. And advanced collections tools quickly and easily group images.

Exposure X3 will be released in Q3 of 2017 and will be available from http://www.alienskin.com for $149. If you purchased Exposure X2 on or after Sept. 1, Exposure X3 will be a free upgrade, otherwise updates are $99.
