At Adobe MAX Japan yesterday, Adobe offered a sneak peak at an upcoming new Photoshop feature designed to make image editing "faster and easier than ever before."
Powered by Adobe Sensei, Select Subject is a one-click selection tool that will be available in an upcoming release of Photoshop CC. Meredith Payne Stotzner shows how it works:
The new tool uses machine learning to recognize objects in the image. Photoshop Elements already uses something like this in its selection tools.
If you watch carefully, you'll see it's far from perfect. But it's a great head start on making a complex selection.
