Lifeprint Launches Wireless 3x4.5-Inch Zink Printer

Lifeprint has released its 3x4.5-inch WiFi and Bluetooth connected photo printer exclusively on Apple.com and Apple stores.

"For our second printer, we wanted to go bigger and broader. The larger film is classic instant camera size and really captures that retro look and feel," said Robert Macauley, vice president and founder.
"But more importantly the WiFi capability means you're always connected. This allows users to print to and from anywhere in the world. No matter where you are, you're connected and ready to print."
With your permission, the company said, friends and family can print to your printer as easily as they might text you.

Lifeprint uses adhesive-backed Zink paper with Zero Ink Technology to produce instant, full-color digital images without ink cartridges, ribbons or toner. The paper uses invisible dyes activated by exposure and processed by heat.
The 3x4.5 Lifeprint printer is available for $149.99 exclusively at Apple.com and Apple stores starting today. Lifeprint film for the 3x4.5 is $49.99 for a pack of 40 and $29.99 for a pack of 20.

This is the first social network for physical photographs.
