1 March 2018

We've just archived Volume 5 Number 2 of Photo Corners with 13 Features, 37 commented news stories, 25 Editor's Notes (which included over 115 items of interest), two reviews and one site note for a total of 78 stories.

We spent a little more time on the archives today because we set up the 2018 headlines, which required an additional link on all the headline pages. It contains our January headlines at the moment, with March and February on our main headline page where we always keep the last two months.

Because Textcavator is a text mining tool and not an image processing one, we decided to make it available to all of our readers.

READERSHIP totals for such a short month would typically be down but we're pleased to report that they were on a par with and in some cases exceeded last fall's figures.

Our daily averages (with incomplete numbers for the month as we write this) show no drop in readership compared to recent months. Very good news.

ON THE CONTENT FRONT, we were saturated with news the last week, inspired by WPPI in Las Vegas. Some of that news scored very highly with readers, like the Tamron 70-210mm zoom announcement.

But right behind it were our matinee Students Help Victims of Hurricane Harvey and our slide show of Bikes.

WE'RE ALSO PLEASED to have been able to offer a handy software utility to our readers. Because Textcavator is a text mining tool and not an image processing one, we decided to make it available to all of our readers.

It does require Keyboard Maestro but no Mac should be without it and we do provide an affiliate link with a meaty discount.

WE HAVE A LOT planned for March, so stay tuned. You never know what you'll find here but we don't think you'll be disappointed.
