Sony has announced its long-await RX100 VI compact digicam featuring a 24-300mm equivalent zoom matched to a 20.1-megapixel 1" CMOS sensor. The new compact can also shoot UHD 4K video at 30p with Full HD at up to 960 fps. A pop-up EVF and 3.0-inch tilting touchscreen round out the compact design.

The RX100 VI adds a touch shutter activated by tapping the LCD screen and a zoom control featuring customizable zoom speeds, particularly useful for video recording.
