Epson Introduces FastFoto FF-680W

Epson has introduced its FastFoto FF-680W, the second printer in its FastFoto lineup after the FF-640 (which we have reviewed, featuring scans as fast as a photo per second in batches of 36 and the ability to handle a variety of media, including Polaroids (which the FF-640 could not handle). The new model also includes the second generation of the FastFoto software.
"Epson recognized the need for a fast and easy scanning solution that enabled people to digitize photos held captive in shoeboxes and albums stored away in closets and attics and vulnerable to natural disasters, fires and floods," said David Hawkes, Epson product manager for scanners.
"FastFoto unlocked a new market with the introduction of the FastFoto in 2016, making it affordable and feasible to preserve a family's legacy," he added. "The new FastFoto FF-680W incorporates feedback from customers with a host of new features, making it easier to bring memories of yesterday back to life using the latest digital technology."
