In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at the week in photos, top wedding photos, the Panasonic G9, color toning and some predictions.
- We don't usually highlight Alan Taylor's Photos of the Week but this week we found a little perspective stabilizing.
- Junebug Weddings has revealed the top 50 wedding photos of 2018 in its 11th annual Best of the Best Wedding Photo Collection.
- Mike Johnston finally got his hands on the Panasonic G9 (which, typical for him, caused it to rain and dampened his plans to shoot with it). - In How to Color Tone in Photoshop in Under 5 Minutes, Aaron Nacefrom Phlearn shows how to use the Levels tool on individual color channels to tone an image:
- Kirk Tuck has some (rather early) Predictions About Photography and Video for 2019. "The problem with digital is that all change is inevitable," he writes. "The deeper the pockets of the parent company the better and faster the change."
