In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at photos of the week, Ayline Olukman, the Sigma 60-600mm zoom, grunge photos and a little game.
- Alan Taylor's 35 Photos of the Week start with Speaker Pelosi and include Pope Francis twirling a soccer ball.
- Stephanie Wade examines the work of French painter and photographer Ayline Olukman in her series About the Mirror Psyche. "I see these indoor and outdoor landscapes as a space where the body meets nature and negotiates their differences and similarities," Olukman says of her photos.
- Dustin Abbott reviews the Sigma 60-600mm f4.5-6.3 OS Sport both in text and video:
- Jasenka Grujin lists Ten Post Production Tactics for Grunge Photos. "Grunge is characterized by its organic, realistic and rugged look that feels weathered and Raw," she begins.
- In The Little Game (Part 1 of 3), Mike Johnston invites you to play a three-part game with him. In today's Part One, "The goal is to write down the list of the 25 categories of things you most like to take pictures of or that you consider within your area of visual competence and your usual practice."
