In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Mark Power, Hong Kong, Creative Cloud on Windows, iPhone insect macro photography, Sigma sale and Jim Olive's legal options.
- In On the Road With Mark Power, Peter Hamilton showcases images by the Brighton-based photographer from the first of five volumes charting his photographic explorations of the U.S., which will continue until at least 2022.
- Alan Taylor presents 24 dramatic photos in Hong Kong Protesters Return to the Streets. Organizers claim that more than 2 million people took part in the march calling for Hong Kong's leadership to step down and for a full withdrawal of the extradition bill.
- Adobe has announced Upcoming Changes to Creative Cloud OS Support for Windows 32-Bit. Briefly, "the next major release of Creative Cloud will not support Windows 32-bit OS," the company notes.
- Jon Mace lists Eight Secrets for Incredible iPhone Insect Macro Photography, including his favorite macro lenses.
- Sigma has extended its Father's Day Sale through June 30 with savings up to $150 on 11 high-performance Sigma Art and Contemporary lenses.
- In Texas Court Puts Road Block to Jim Olive's 'Takings' Suit, Carolyn Wright writes, "There's still hope in these circumstances." She cites two options the photographer still has.
