AKVIS has released a major update to AKVIS Coloriage, its photo colorization software. Version 12.0 features a Color History palette with last used colors and includes support for more Raw files plus a few other changes.

AKVIS Coloriage allows colorizing black and white photos and replacing colors in color images, performing selective colorization and desaturation. It includes both automatic and manual tools, a rich Color Library and various options to pick out colors.

Version 12.0 adds a Color History palette to make it easier to select the desired tint for your photo. The program now remembers the last used colors as well.

The update also implements support for more Raw files, some bug fixes and stability improvements.

Coloriage Home is $75 and deluxe and business versions are also available. The update is free for if you bought Coloriage within the last 12 months, other wise the Coloriage 12.0 update is $14.95. A 10-day free trial is also available.
