Adobe has posted a sneak peep at a new Advanced Color Grading feature coming soon to Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw. It enhances the former Split Toning tool.

Pei Ketron from the Lightroom team shares how the new Advanced Color Grading tool provides more editing precision by adding color control for midtones in addition to the highlight= and shadow control previously available in Split Toning tool.

The clip above shows how the new tool works on the desktop version of Lightroom. Ketron explains that the highlight and shadow Split Toning controls have been expanded to include midtone controls in the new Color Grading tool.

In addition, precise color wheels let you adjust hue and saturation. Each wheel also has a luminance slider.
