Pixelmater Pro 2.0 Supports M1 Macs

In a blog post late last week, the Pixelmater team unveiled Pixelmater Pro 2.0 featuring support for Apple's M1 Macs and a redesign that will be released on Thursday, Nov. 19.
The unified memory of the M1 chip, which allows the CPU and GPU to share memory has speeded up machine learning tasks like ML Super Resolution some 15x, the team reports.
HIGHLIGHTS
Among other features of the new release are:
- macOS Big Sur compatible
- All-new design of "every tool, every menu and every button"
- New Effects browser
- New workspace presets, including one for photography
- Over 200 new presets
