INSTRUCTORS

Dan Hughes is an award-winning photographer and a member of the photography teaching faculty at Rochester Institute of Technology. Hughes is an expert in the Nik Collection with over 15 years experience in the photography industry where he has covered everything from commercial photography and photogravure to the design of imaging software and teaching curricula.

Laurie Klein holds a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MFA from Ohio University. Early in her career, Laurie studied with Ansel Adams. She is the author of Infrared Photography: Digital Techniques for Artistic Images, Infrared Photography: Artistic Techniques for Brilliant Images , Photographing The Female Form with Digital Infrared and Hand Coloring Black and White Photography.

Shelley Vandegrift, who works with Klein, fell in love with photography as a child working with her father in their at-home darkroom. Along with Klein, she has co-authored Infrared Photography: Digital Techniques for Artistic Images.
