In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Drone Photo Awards, infrared on the iPhone, Fracture Photo Walls and Luminar Neo.

  • Matt Fidler presents a selection of images from the Drone Photo Awards from Siena, including overall winner Terje Kolaas's image of geese flying to their breeding grounds in the Arctic.
  • Rad Drew has been having fun Creating Infrared Images With the iPhone using a lot of "jiggery-pokery."
  • Fracture has introduced Photo Walls, a new service that ships a layout along with multiple print orders to make it easy to get an attractive assembly of prints up on your wall.
  • Luminar is accepting pre-orders for Neo, its "creative image editor driven by AI technologies of the future." The first 30,000 orders get the early bird price of $54 for delivery "this winter." Requires macOS 10.14.6+ or Windows 10 64-bit.

More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look back. And please support our efforts...
