In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at 2021 in Photos, Juan Sebastian, Ruven Afandador and Creative Cloud Express.
- In 2021 in Photos (gift link), David Leonhardt suggests its already time to look at the pictures of the year. He selected 12 he thinks tells the tale of 2021 from The Year in Pictures.
- Devid Gualandris explores Colombian photographer Juan Sebastian's The Roar of the Winds, "a captivating collection of poetic images exploring tactical memory, intimacy, movement and the passage of time."
- Kate Dwyer talks to Ruven Afandador about Photographing a Great Performance (gift link). "In an interview, Afanador shared the role of music in his process, the challenges of shooting remotely and some favorite moments on set," she writes.
- Scott Belsky introduces Adobe's Creative Cloud Express, "a quick and easy Web and mobile app that's perfect for a tattoo artist sharing his latest design, a clothing designer advertising her latest pop-up, a student creating an interactive history report, a real estate agent marketing his newest listing or an aspiring musician posting about her upcoming performance." It's free, too, at express.adobe.com or the Apple App, Google Play, and Microsoft stores.
