In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at Coachella, Ukrainian photojournalists, album covers, Brendan Davis, automation using presets and M1 USB and Thunderbolt ports.
- Alan Taylor presents 25 photos of Scenes From Coachella 2022, the music and arts festival that has resumed in Indio, Calif., after two years of cancellations caused by the pandemic. "Thousands of music fans gathered once again to hear performances by artists on multiple stages, including sets by Doja Cat, Danny Elfman, Billie Eilish, Orville Peck, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone and many more," he writes.
- In The New Photojournalists of Ukraine, Kateryna Radchenko, the director of Odesa Photo Days, profiles four artists who chose to stay and document the war: Mikhail Palinchak, Alina Smutko, Volodymyr Petrov and Pavel Dorogoy.
- The Best Album Cover Shoots highlights the exhibition For the Record: Photography & the Art of the Album Cover at The Photographers' Gallery in London until June 12.
