PhotoShelter has announced it will host an interactive talk on Twitter on Wednesday, May 18 at noon ET, about fostering community on social media.
Polly Irungu, founder of Black Women Photographers, and Brayden Williams, photographer and videographer at Purdue University, will discuss how finding your place on social media can lead to connection, job opportunities and creative new ideas.
Among the topics to be discussed are:
- Ways you can use social media to achieve personal and professional goals
- How to find your community on platforms like Twitter and Instagram
- The impact of community on mental health
