In this recurring column, we highlight a few items we've run across that don't merit a full story of their own but are interesting enough to bring to your attention. This time we look at the week in photos, birds at sunset, commercial assignments and a LensRentals AMA.
- The Associated Press has published AP Week in Pictures: Global, including a wedding in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, the devastation wrought by the Yellowstone floods, a visit by European leaders Kyiv, Ukraine, and more.
- Carmine Sunset Purple Finale by Robert Henderson was captured in Zambia. He used a Canon EOS 7D Mark II with a Canon 200-400mm f4 L IS USM EXT at 361mm exposed at f6.3 for 1/2000 second and ISO 1000. "It was the perfect location for shooting the colorful birds against the intensely colorful sky," he says.
- In Photographic Projects and Errata, Kirk Tuck describes his week of commercial assignments. "I ended the day as I started the week. Mostly baffled by clients and their basic lack of organizational skills," he writes.
- In We Are LensRentals. Ask Us Anything! on Reddit, Roger, Aaron, Joey, Ryan and Zach answer everything.
More to come! Meanwhile, here's a look back. And please support our efforts...
